The instructor of this course is Prof. Jamie Smith, J.D., M.A. She received a聽J.D聽an M.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University. She聽also holds a certificate in International Human Rights law from Oxford University聽and is a certified mediator.聽聽She聽is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.聽聽As a practicing attorney, Jamie focuses on civil litigation.聽 She also has extensive appellate experience and has worked on high-profile complex litigation.
Jamie has been teaching since 2006 and has developed and taught a variety of classes at both brick-and-mortar and online schools.聽 She has previously served as Chair of an online graduate program聽and has co-authored a book on success for the online student.
