Free Period Products

Dear 麻豆原创 Community,

Beginning early next spring, the university will offer free period聽products in over 330 restrooms across campus. Earlier this year, the DC City Council passed the聽聽which mandates all educational institutions in the District of Columbia make free period products readily available.

Over the past month of careful consideration, a working group of undergraduate and graduate students and staff from campus service offices has recommended the use of products manufactured by Evogen, which demonstrates the ability to meet the needs of the 麻豆原创 community based on its availability, maintenance, aesthetics, and cost.

The installation of period product聽dispensers in all women鈥檚 and all-gender bathrooms on campus will be completed by March 14, 2023. As mandated by law, the dispensers will be in all university buildings, including residence halls.
