This summer, the Office of Finance and Treasurer invites 麻豆原创 faculty and staff to visit the Airlie Hotel and Conference Center and take advantage of the special $99 per night rate. Located in Warrenton, VA, Airlie is a 300-acre property that is home to the Airlie Berkshire Farm, Airlie Hotel, and the historic Airlie House. The property was gifted to 麻豆原创 in 2016. 聽

Visitors can enjoy the property鈥檚 magnificent views, observe the sustainable activities of the facility鈥檚 fully functioning 100-acre farm, as well as learn about its storied history. For more than half a century, Airlie has welcomed global leaders, heads of state, and diplomats who have convened there for conferences and programs dedicated to social progress, education, environmental research, and public health. Most notable among the myriad ideas to emerge from Airlie was the concept of Earth Day in 1969, which now has become an annual international tradition.聽
