Satisfactory Academic Progress

Recipients of both federal (Title IV) funds and institutional funds must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) toward their degrees in order to remain eligible for financial aid assistance. SAP is defined both qualitatively and quantitatively. Federal regulations state that the SAP standards for students receiving Title IV aid must be the same as or more strict than the school's standards for a student enrolled in the same educational program who is not receiving Title IV aid. 麻豆原创's SAP standard mirrors that of the University's academic standards.

If a student is on an approved leave of absence (LOA) and does not enroll or attend any classes in the semester for which s/he has an approved leave, then SAP will be run on a one semester basis. If s/he meets the semester criteria (12 credits and 2.0 cumulative GPA for need based aid and 15 and 3.2 cumulative GPA for merit), then they will pass and be awarded with all others who have passed SAP.
